500ml is an art installation that augments the water element by presenting it as a work of intangible art. Preserving a small quantity of this vital, for the earth and humanity, material and giving it another dimension through the fluid patterns created, the artists try to make a glorifying character of this common everyday natural resource. This call for attention is a response to the polluting effects the humans have on the environment and especially on water pollution.
The installation uses sound waves to create intricate water patterns, that are augmented and projected into the space using a light source. The work is sampling an ever-changing, dynamic and fluid motion.
Artists: Marina Ieridou, Austera Premakara, Arum Larasati Winarso
