Transformational Breath technique helps us to fully open our respiratory system – something the body has difficulty doing if breathing is restricted during times of stress and trauma. Research shows that 70% of people are not using their respiratory system to its full capacity. What does it mean? It means less energy for our cells and higher chances of physical, mental and emotional blockages.

Each breathing session is unique, so it’s best to come with an open mind and not to have a specific expectation. As feelings, thoughts, and physical sensations arise during breathing session, allow yourself to breathe into those emotions to integrate them.

Together we will work towards re-training your body to breathe naturally, with a fully connected diaphragmatic breath for physical and emotional well-being.

You will be invited to lie down in a comfortable, relaxing space and to breathe normally.

A breathing facilitator will observe where your breath goes first, how much time is spent inhaling compared to exhaling, and where it pauses or is blocked.

We all have our own breathing patterns that show where we are at in the world. Our facilitators are fully trained to read these patterns and as a rule, will guide you how to consciously breathe from the diaphragm. By having a deeper understanding of our breathing patterns, we release both physical and emotional tension from the body.

They will also use other ‘tools’, including adjusting the position of the body, gentle hands-on pressure, sound, movement, and positive affirmations. This will help the breath to flow into those restricted areas.

You may feel a number of different sensations, such as a dry mouth, tingling, numbness, a change in temperature, or emotional release.

The process has proven to be deep and unique for many people.

The most common benefits that people experienced are: stress reduction, relaxation, forgiveness and self-love. Many clients also experienced a deeper meditative states, deeper connection with others and inner wisdom, fuller expression of loving and joyful emotions, self-discovery by awareness of self-sabotaging behaviours and thought patterns.

Practising breath work you may experience as your self-esteem and confidence is boosted and quality of life improved.

Here are some physical, emotional and psychological benefits of deep, full, connected diaphragmatic breathing:

– it detoxifies the body
– it increases oxygenation and energy levels in the body
– it stimulates circulation and the lymphatic system and massages the organs
– it activates a high frequency of electromagnetic vibration throughout the body and mind
-it helps to open up the respiratory system and so it may eliminate restrictive breathing patterns
– it may improve physical wellness, and releases physical tension
– it promotes integration of our suppressed feelings, emotions, limiting beliefs, self-sabotaging patterns
– it may help you to feel more connected, authentic, aware, focused and free

Our Transformational breathing sessions are carefully designed and facilitated by certified Transformational Breath® Facilitator and Workshop Leaders.
