10:00 am - 11:00 am
After a number of years of metaphysical studies and yoga, I decided to train to become a yoga teacher in order to help people to find the peace and their own truth in their practice of yoga.
In my teaching practice I invite students to find their balance, space and peace.
The style of yoga I teach is Hatha/Vinyasa and Restorative.
General outline of Yoga Class
The one hour yoga class will involve preparation preparing the student to focus on the class by preparing the body, mind and breathe for the physical movement practice.
After this initial preparation, the students will be guided through a series of movements known as Asana’s ( Postures), the Asansa’s will assist in improving the energy, tone and strength of the body.
The final part of the class after the movements will be quite meditative state involving a final relaxation posture to integrate the practice.
The focus of Asana’s are primarily to combine stability with ease and relaxation in combination with the breath. The purpose of the movements combined with breath is to still the mind for meditation.
