The workshop
Join Fan Maker Victoria Ajoku for another fun session in which participants will make a folding hand-fan to take home. Additionally, you will discover many key, unique facts about fans, as Victoria takes you through the processes of ‘the making’ aspects all within the homely artFix Greenwich venue.
This session is so unique that it is not to be missed and can be booked as a gift for a friend or loved one. The workshop is suitable for all levels, from children aged 12 years and over. Children aged between 12- 17 years must be accompanied by an adult throughout the session.
20 spaces available on a first come first serve basis. £40.00 per person. All materials and a cream tea is included!

Did you know that the art of Fan Making is officially listed as a ‘critically endangered craft’ in the UK? That’s where Fan Maker Victoria Ajoku steps in, on the special mission to help ‘revive’ the ancient and modern practices of Fan Making and the concept of ‘The Fan’ as a whole. Victoria Ajoku is a professional Fan Maker (and the founder of ‘Fan The Glory With Tori’) who has been teaching, making commissioned fans since 2015 and also delights in making fan related jewellery items too.
Victoria has featured on ‘Forbes’, ‘i Weekend’, ‘The Sunday Telegraph’ and has appeared on the television show ‘Steps Packed Lunch’ all to name a few. Shortlisted under the ‘Made in Greenwich’ category for ‘The Best of Royal Borough of Greenwich Business Awards 2022; ‘Fan The Glory With Tori’ still remains the only fan related company in the world that incorporates fan making as ‘outreach’ into diverse communities, to enable that this Heritage Craft is an enjoyable, therapeutic experience that reaches people of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and walks of life’.
