After 2 years of collaboration with artFix, Edythe is now showcasing the precious original paintings that are behind the postcards, prints and calendars which enjoyed a great success at our Greenwich cafe.
The exhibition will therefore be a reflection of Edythe’s interest in the local community where she takes inspiration for her impressive, colourful and meaningful paintings, which show some of the landmarks, the locals and its surroundings of the beautiful area in and around Greenwich.
artFix is particularly proud and enthusiastic to be able to showcase Edythe’s watercolours, during this special festive season but also right after commemorating our 2nd anniversary at the Greenwich Market.
Edythe Peters is a local artist and since her retirement from teaching she has been concentrating her interest in watercolour painting. Her inspiration comes from the beautiful area where she lives, close to Greenwich Park, for which she has a deep affection. In addition to watercolour she also works in acrylic, oils and mixed media. She regularly takes on commissions and is happy to discuss any ideas.
Edythe has produced a wide variety of cards and in particular her Christmas cards have proved very popular. Last year the Old Royal Naval College choose of one them for their official Christmas card to send out to all its clients. For the second year the ORNC has commissioned her to produce a Calendar and this 2022 Calendar is now on sale at artFix along with her Christmas cards.
