Three days of FREE workshops and showcases by young artists coming to Greenwich in August!

Workshops will be taking place on all three days 23, 24, 25 August from 10 am – 2 pm at Artfix Greenwich. Join us if you want to explore your artsy side!

Performances will start at 7 pm each day, with
✍️ Creative Writing – Wednesday 23rd of August (outdoor, Former Clocktower Market)
📷 Photography Exhibition Private View – Thursday 24th of August (indoor, Artfix)
🎸 Live Music – Friday 25th of August (outdoor, Former Clocktower Market)

Day 1 – 23 Aug

10:00 am – 10:30 am – Young artists welcome & introductions @ Artfix Greenwich

10:30 am – 2:00 pm – Workshop: Storytelling through writing, visual arts, and music

3:00 pm – 4:30 pm – Creative Trip to Maritime Museum

4:45 pm – 5:45 pm – Drink | Write | Draw – Happy Hour @ Artfix Greenwich

7:00 pm – 10:00 pm – Literature Performance with Guest Fiona Benson @ Former Clocktower Market

Day 2 – 24 Aug

10:30 am – 2:00 pm – Workshop: Practice your craft (creative writing and music).

Day 3 – 25 Aug

7:00 pm – 10 pm – Live Music with Guests Project Culture & Arctic Lake @ Former Clocktower Market

Arts in the Streets is funded by Arts Council National Lottery Grants. This is a DEIS UK project in partnership with Artfix. We are proud to support and present you this exciting project for the third year! 

The concept behind the project is to place 20 young artists from London at the same level as their audience, by taking them on a three-day creative journey on a series of workshops and performances, and therefore help them manage their emotions and engage with new audiences.

At the end of each day, there will be a special showcase.

Come and listen, have a drink, enjoy the great atmosphere of Greenwich in the evening and encourage these young artists to follow their passion!

FREE entry – all welcome. However, sit-down places are limited, so if you would like to guarantee a table, please book a place.

Tickets are £5 and they will include 1 free drink – beer, wine or soft drink.
