The Artist
Alan David Wright was an art lover from a very early age, always had a crayon or pencil in his hand.
Self taught to a very large degree and somewhat spasmodic at times. All or nothing being the order of the day most of the time.
Three major peaks, the first in the 70’s, the second late 90’s early 2000’s. Last but not least, the current lock-down.
Music, nature, metaphysics and the surreal being some if not all of his influences.
After a working life in the antique and restoration business Alan returns to art as the first true love.

This exhibition in Greenwich is the first in London and the first anywhere for some years.
Most of the work with the exception of a couple were executed in the last 2 years.
