Sketch Club is a social space for lovers of drawing from all ages. You do not need experience or skills, just the willingness to draw and share your experience with others.
Sketch club it is highly embodied in lifestyles where friendship policies find a fluid and comfortable format.
Clubs are intentional communities, cultural groups inheriting the concept of tribe: these modes of grouping and management are possible expressions of the art of the 21st century.
Sketch Club offer different sessions where the main focus is to encourage creativity through sessions which are aim to build a community of drawing lovers.
For Adults and Ages 12+
(£6 per session or £20 for 4 sessions)
Session 1 —Reimagine the city
Participant will be ask to draw iconic buildings for example the Big Ben or others from their preference and think about how they can place them in the London landscape.
For example a snake can replace the Big Ben or how would you change the scale of the objects?
- Objectives: design a new London landscape, looking at scale and distortions of objects.
- Materials: Colour pencils, Pencil, rubber and paper
