Free Pop-Up Osteopathic Clinic for babies

In the warm setting of the artFix cafe, Oleg will provide free osteopathic assessment and treatment to the local newborns and babies.

Check-ups are brief and do not involve any undressing and special equipment. The aim of it is to get a global idea about the state of the child and therefore guiding parents in what would be the right course of action for their baby’s wellbeing.

The idea is to create a small social circle / pop-up clinic where parents may receive an advice and reassurance in regards to their baby’s health.

About Oleg

Oleg Chmielewski is a Registered Osteopath graduated from University College of Osteopathy in London. He works as an Associate Osteopath in a well-established Fulham Osteopathic Practice where he treats patients of all ages. As a part of his post-graduate education, he has been trained in paediatric, classical and cranial Osteopathy.

He utilises a very gentle touch to identify and treat strains and imbalances in the body that may have a knock-on effect on various systems and areas of the body, resulting in pains, aches and tension.

Oleg particularly enjoys working with babies as he believes that the optimally balanced body provides a sound foundation for further development and helps them being more comfortable throughout their early life.

Furthermore, he is involved in a community breastfeeding group in Fulham where he works alongside other osteopaths, midwives, breastfeeding consultants, speech and language therapist, and other healthcare specialists. The aim of the group is to provide support and advice for the parents and babies, and it’s free of charge.

Because Oleg lives locally in Woolwich, he decided to start a similar project by creating a local community support group offering a free osteopathic check-up, advice and treatment (when appropriate).
