Eye of the Night

Is it on the moon’s dark side that lost things hide, or in its blazing eye?

Join the Moon Festival’s  Storytelling night.

Storytelling with Laura Sampson and Sam Enthoven

LIMITED EARLY BIRD TICKETS AVAILABLE

What would happen if the moon disappeared forever?

How would a moon-dweller live in the human world?

Is it on the moon’s dark side that lost things hide, or in its blazing eye?

The Moon and its cycles have birthed a dizzying universe of stories in every world culture since the dawn of time. It’s a symbol of wisdom, a bringer of madness, a deity and also a home to deities: moon myth teems with celestial rabbits, shapeshifting maidens, shining palaces and underground cities.

As Earth’s original satellite it’s the perfect place from which strange beings can descend to us – or, maybe, simply watch our every move. Join storyteller Laura Sampson and sound artist Sam Enthoven on a voyage around the moon and its folklore, set to the unique and uncanny sound of the Theremin – an instrument whose music has literally been to the moon and back.

Come to Eye of the Night straight after attending our free, open to all, Moon Street Party.
