My artistic practice is based upon self-expression and my love for ‘graffiti’ particularly. It has been a constant throughout my life and continues to be.
I work with a combination of ink and acrylic to create symbolical pieces, using geometry to convey my short stories; ranging from the depths of a depressive state of mind to life philosophy, idioms and even some colloquialisms are also present.
The linguistic inspired art is born out of my love for the English language and more importantly to me; the origins of the word(s) being utilised to this very day.
I hope you take the same enjoyment out of my work as I do.
My name is Stuart Lee and I have finally reached a stage in my life where I want to share my artwork.
I’ve always enjoyed creating since a very young age as most of us do, I’ve just been lucky enough to carry this desire to create through adulthood and here I am.
It is said that we need food, shelter and water to survive. Personally, I think art should be a necessity too, this may sound ridiculous but I honestly do not know where I would be without it.
I have reached a stage in my life where I can genuinely aim for peace throughout and the creative process is helping me make this dream a reality.
